I want to be an Apprentice - How do I Apply?


Decide what type of jobs and Apprenticeships interest you.  If you need advice please contact our Apprenticeship Team who will be happy to give you guidance and information that will help you decide if the Apprenticeship programme is right for you.

If you know what Apprenticeship you are interested in please write or email to the addresses detailed above. Include a covering letter and your CV, don’t forget to include information the area(s) of apprenticeship you are interested in.

We recommend that you try and approach as many employers as possible yourself and ask if they are taking on any apprentices. It can be more effective in securing the apprenticeship and will mean more to both you and the employer.

Tips for contacting Employers - Show that you are keen and interested whether you are contacting by phone, email or in writing. Say why you want to be an apprentice and particularly why in this type of work. Plan what you want to say and what you want to know before you pick up the phone or write. If you have any work experience or hobbies that are relevant mention them.
